Notes: "THE THIRD COMPANY. -- The third company of this season's emigration sailed from Liverpool on Wednesday the 21st instant, per S. S. Nevada. The Saints were in charge of Elder Robert R. Irvine, and comprised seven different nationalities, divided as follows: Danish, Swedish and Norwegians, 694; Dutch, 2; English, Scotch and Welsh, 204; returning elders, 33; making a total of 933 souls, the largest company of Saints that has left these shores since 1873. The names of the elders returning home are as follows: Robert R. Irvine, Stephen Tucker, J. L. Robison, O. C. Ormsby, Joseph Robinson, John T. Rich, William H. Apperley, Helon H. Tracy, David Spillsbury, Thomas L. Obray, Sybien Van Dyke, Simon Christensen, James T. Hanson, Jens Hansen, James H. Hansen, Christen Christensen, Rasmus Olson, J. T. Jensen, James S. Jenson, L. Nielsen, J. P. Olsen, J. P. Larsen, H. E. Nielsen, Christian Hogensen, Oluf Tellefsen, L. K. Larsen, P. A. Lofgren, Sven Erikson, M. Jacobson, N. O. Anderson, C. P. Warnick, N. Henrikson, Andrew Larson, Thomas Allsop, a visitor, also returned to Utah. The company left in good health and spirits, with fair prospects for a successful voyage over the Atalantic."

". . . A company of emigrating Scandinavian Saints (the 58th company from Scandinavia), sailed from Copenhagen June 16, 1882, on the steamers 'Albano' and 'Bravo.' 'Albano' had on board 573 emigrating Saints, besides 15 returning missionaries, viz., Simon Christensen, Jens Iver Jensen, Christian Hogensen, Jens Hansen, Lars Nielsen, James J. Hansen, Jacob P. Olsen, Lars K. Larsen, James S. Jensen, Ole C. Tellefsen, Christian Christensen, Peter A. Lofgren, James P. Larsen, Hans E. Nielsen and Ramsmus Olsen. The smaller steamer 'Bravo' had on board 125 emigrating Saints and seven returning missionaries, viz., Nils O. Anderson, Martin Jacobsen, Swen Erickson, Carl P. Warnick, Nils Henrikson, James H. Hansen and Anders Larsen. After successful voyages across the North Sea both steamers arrived safely in Hull, England, June 19th, the 'Albano' in the morning and the 'Bravo' in the afternoon. The emigrants proceeded by train to Liverpool, where all embarked on the steamer 'Nevada,' which sailed on the 21st with a total of 933 Latter-day Saints on board. Of these 201 were Britishers, 694 Scandinavians, 2 Hollanders, 33 returning missionaries and 3 visitors. The whole company was led by Elder Robert R. Irvine and arrived safely in New York July 2nd. From there the emigrants started by railway the following day, July 3rd, on their westward journey, had a pleasant and speedy journey to Utah, arriving in Ogden July 9, 1882. The next day (July 10th) those who were going south arrived in Salt Lake City. Two children died on the journey. . . ."
