      Notes for JOHN BOYLE:
      WAR 1812-John Boyle enlisted 06 February, 1813, as a Pvt. in Capt. Lawrences
      Company, 22nd. US Infantry,Pennsylvania Militia, at Uniontown, Pa. He was
      wounded in the shoulder at Lundy's Lane. He was discharged 04 October 1814,
      at the end of the war, at Sackets Harbor N.Y. His wife Lucretia received a
      Widow's Pension, eight dollars a month. In 1883 her Pension Certificate was
      lost in a house fire, at the home of her son William Boyle, whom she was a
      member of. She applied for a new certificate in 1884. On Lucretia Draper
      Boyle's application papers for widow's pension, she describes her husband John
      Boyle, at the time of his enlistment: "Sixteen years of age, 5 foot 10 1/2 inches
      tall, complection rather light, hair dark, eye's black". John Boyle died 22
      December 1869, Mount Clemens, Macomb County Michigan. His wife Lucretia
      Boyle (nee Draper), died October 24, 1887, she is buried in Clinton Grove
      Cemetery, Clinton Township , Macomb County Michigan. No death record was
      found listed with the State of Michigan...........
